Oscar Deen was started by two London friends Sheriff-Deen Showobi and Oscar Phillips who both shared a passion for sunglasses. Their designs are inspired by vintage frames sourced all the way from antique shops in Europe to markets in Camden but are reinterpreted for modern life.

The Pinto was inspired by a classic 1940's made in France shape called the Crown Panto which is renowned for it distinctive round shape. They feature a slightly raised keyholed bridge and a lower frame that mirrors the angled brow.

All Oscar Deen frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate with lenses made from organic plastic. Each pair comes with a case is made in collaboration with London based leather artisan and mate, Otis Ingrams. Each one is hand made in london, from 2 pieces of recycled composite leather, 4 brass rivets and one brass stud.
